Aluminium Beryllium Master Alloys
DOMADIA AlBe ALLOY is capable of supplying the following different grade of aluminium beryllium master alloys, including AlBe3.5% Aluminium Beryllium master alloys, AlBe 5.0% Aluminium Beryllium master alloys and other grade of aluminium beryllium master alloys are also available upon customers request.
Al-Be alloy system had the potential to produce a family of lightweight materials with the combined attributes of the high modulus and strength of beryllium and high ductility and fracture toughness of aluminum. Beryllium is one of the lightest aerospace structural materials with a density of 1.85 g/cc (0.067 lb/cu in.) while aluminum''s density is approximately 45% higher at 2.7 g/cc (0.097 lb/cu in.)
