Aluminium Crepe Paper has optimal shielding characteristics but by itself has poor tensile strength. Laminated with insulating paper and creped it is the perfect shielding material and widely used in stress rings. Aluminium Crepe Paper provides efficient shielding against electrostatic fields. The eddy current formation in the aluminium caused by magnetic fields is moderate. Typical applications include transformer coils, cables, bushings, electronic components, and other electrical devices. To manufacture this paper, our principal laminates electrical kraft paper on aluminium foil, using a non-conductive adhesive that is insoluble in water and hot oil. Its high elongation and flexibility allows aluminium Crepe Paper to wrap snugly and precisely around any size or shape.
