Mica tape is generally as intermediate tape for fire resistance purpose. It has excellent fire resistance, Flame retardant & Heat resistance properties.

Temperature Range Insulation: -32°C to 1000°C is Working Temperature for Long Hours and upto 1050°C for short duration and do not melt up to 1700°C. Yarns are acid and alkali resistant.

• Alumina fiber is a polycrystalline inorganic fiber whose main component is alumina, with aluminum oxide as the main component and a small amount of silica.
• The operating temperature of alumina fiber reaches 1450℃-1600℃, and the melting point is 1840℃. The melting point of pure alumina fiber (99) is as high as 2050℃.
• Alumina fiber has low shot content or loose fiber which is safe. Shot content less than 1%, while ceramic fiber blanket has almost 25% shot content. Therefore, ceramic blanket or RCF is not allowed to be used in certain industries such as automotive.

Mica Glass Backed Tape are produced from high temperature raw mica that contains thermal properties to reach flame temperature of up to 1100°Celsius. Our product provides extreme reliability and durability when insulated to produce cable and wires. Additionally, the tapes have high flexibility along with superior tensile strength, which is suitable for high speed taping.

Mica tapes are produced using natural mica and is non-toxic, chemically neutral and 100% halogen free.
